SerpentCult was created in the summer of 2006 by Frédéric Caure, Steven Van Cauwenbergh and Frederik 'Cozy' Cosemans in a classic power-trio setup.
Few months later, Michelle Nocon joined the ranks on vocals, and soon the first EP 'Trident Nor Fire' was recorded and released. The first European live appearances started in 2007, soon followed by concerts all over Europe.
This eventually lead to signing a record deal with London based Rise Above Records in 2008, and just months later, the debut fullength 'Weight Of Light' was released.
Following the success of the first album, SerpentCult soon started touring Europe again, and in the summer of 2009 the band also did a two week trek throughout North America (USA and Canada).
Early 2010 was marked by the departure from vocalist Michelle Nocon. The band decided to continue as a three-piece, and to explore their boundaries even further, bringing them to musical fields scarcely explored in the modern "metal scene".
The year 2011 will see the release of SerpentCult's new album 'Raised By Wolves'.
