Demolition Hammer Bio:
Easily one of the best bands to emerge from the Bronx/Westchester scene, ever. Formed in 1986, they went on to quickly become hometown heroes, playing such venues as The Ritz (NYC), CBGB's, Streets (New Rochelle), The Sundance (Long Island) and The World Stage in upper Westchester. They released their first demo, Skull Fracturing Nightmare in 1988, then solidified the "classic" lineup on their second demo, Necrology in 1989. In 1990 DH signed to Century Media and quickly released two albums, Tortured Existnece and Epidemic of Violence. For these albums they toured the world with the likes of Malevolent Creation, Obituary, Morgoth, Devastation and Deicide, among others. In 1993, they went through a lineup change and released their third and final album, Timebomb in 1994. Sadly Vinny Daze passed away on March 11th, 1996.
