ThroatpuncH Bio:

Formed in the Summer of 2008, Victor Ferlaino, Robert Arsenault, Paul Lawrence, and lead vocalist, Adam Lahr, quickly began writing what would be the band’s first self-titled debut album. Released in 2010, with help from Corey Lowery (Stuck Mojo/ Eye Empire), and Clint Lowery (Sevendust), “ThroatpuncH” was a huge success. Powerful vocals, insane guitar riffs, and a unique stage performance enhanced by new lead guitarist Ashley Taylor and Albin Blomkvest (AKA Sampleblocker), quickly made ThroatpuncH one of Atlanta’s most sought after bands.
In recognition of their debut album, Throatpunch was awarded “Best Rock Band” in 2012 by the GA Music Awards. After hundreds of shows and years of writing, rhythm guitarist, Robert Arsenault and drummer Victor Ferlaino, left the band in 2013 due to unforeseen circumstances. Replaced by guitarist Webb Huffstatler and drummer Kevin Welborn, the band recorded its second album “can’t understand normal thinking” at LedBelly Studios with help from Matt Washburn (Mastadon). Mastered by Alan Douches at West Side Mastering in New York, the band released “can’t understand normal thinking” on November 16th, 2013 at the 120 Tavern in Marietta, GA.
Encouraged by the success of their first album, a rapidly growing fan base, and “rave reviews” about their second album “can’t understand normal thinking”, ThroatpuncH is looking forward to their continued success in 2014.
