Tenured Philadelphia metalcore band A Life Once Lost frontman Bob Meadows had announced that the band has broken up. In an interview with Doylestown blog Fig Meadows announced the end of the bands 14 year run to better himself as a person.

A Life Once Lost was formed in Philadelphia 1999 and has put out 5 full length studio albums and toured the Europe and the United States with such bands as Opeth, Lamb of God and As I Lay Dying.
