Agalloch Reunites with Profound Lore Records for Fourth Full-Length Album

Agalloch announced that Profound Lore Records will release their long-awaited fourth full-length album. Profound Lore originally released Agalloch‘s debut album, “Pale Folklore,” and sophomore album, “The Mantle,” on vinyl in 2005, including the wooden sleeve edition of “Pale Folklore.” Agalloch stated that “the artistic attitude and level of integrity from Profound Lore is why we are extremely pleased to have them represent Agalloch.” The new album was said to be recorded this past June through July, but a release date has yet to be set.

Since their formation in Portland, Oregon in 1995, Agalloch has released four limited EPs, three full-length albums, two demos, one split album, one compilation album and one live DVD.

Profound Lore Records is an independent label founded in 2004 that is and has been home to such bands as Altar of Plagues, Amber Asylum, Asunder, The Gates of Slumber, Krallice, Ludicra, Nadja, and Yakuza.
