Chaos has never sounded so good, and by chaos I mean the masterpiece that is The Bunny The Bear’s upcoming album Stories.
New York natives The Bunny The Bear combines elements of piano (keyboard), synthesizers, guitars, drums, hardcore screams and clean vocals that puts them into a category all their own. It is this very combination that makes them so different from any band out in the scene right now.

This album never gets boring—simply because the listener does not know what their ears can expect to hear next. There are sweet melodies turn screams turn piano solo which makes for an exciting listening adventure down the rabbit hole.
Songs like “Imagine” and “In Like Flynn” are summer anthems waiting to happen with their catchy melodies and dance along beats, while other songs on the album like “Hey Allie” and “Eating Disorder” are to be taken much more seriously.
I couldn’t help but to have this album on repeat for a few hours just trying to understand it—but the beauty of it is that you cannot understand this album fully only the creators behind the Bunny and The Bear masks can, just by listening to it you will find that it was put together which much time and effort due to the almost perfect blend of instruments and vocals.
I literally sat in my chair and picked away at this album for hours and a few days trying to find something about it that I wasn’t fond of, and the truth is I couldn’t find anything. Stories has something to offer to every listener.
Stories is a refreshing as it sets a whole new mood to a music genre that has gotten accustomed to filling every void with a breakdown or guitar solo. If you’re looking for something different, I highly recommend buying this album when it’s out later this month.
