The true vikings of Swedish melodic death metal Amon Amarth have announced a 20th anniversary mini-tour in Germany, Poland, and Holland.
The band has stated through it’s official website:
“To celebrate our 20 years anniversary as a band we are going to arrange 5 special shows which will take place this August in Germany, Poland and Holland. We will perform 2 full sets with songs from our entire career and there will also be a meet and greet. More details to be announced later.”

Amon Amarth’s latest recording was released June 27th, 2011 on Metal Blade Records and titled Surtur Rising. The album was named as a tribute to Surtur, leader of the fire giants of Muspelheim and the oldest being in the nine worlds of Norse mythology.
