The twisted minds of Carach Angren are back with more music from new album Dance and Laugh Amongst the Rotten, the follow up to their creepy as all shit recent This Is No Fairytale release. Metal Injection has the new song “Charlie” HERE. It is a totally pulverizing track that could appeal to fans of Septicflesh as much as, say, Cradle Of Filth or Catamenia.

Dance and Laugh Amongst the Rotten was recorded with Peter Tägtgren (AMON AMARTH, CHILDREN OF BODOM, DIMMU BORGIR, IMMORTAL, and more) at Abyss Studio in Sweden, mastered by Jonas Kjellgren at the Black Lounge Studio (SEPTICFLESH, KATATONIA, AMORPHIS, and more) and features cover art by Costin Chioreanu (GHOST, ARCH ENEMY, AT THE GATES, and more).

Regarding the new track, the band comments: “We proudly present the next track from our upcoming album ‘Dance and Laugh amongst the Rotten’ called ‘Charlie’. It will draw you right into the first chapter of an unsettling journey, setting an ominous dark paranormal tone. ‘Charlie’ has everything and more of what you may expect from us: a darkness brought forth by unsettling haunting melodies, piercing riffs, and bloodcurdling storytelling.”

The new album will be released by Season of Mist worldwide on June 16. Pre-orders for ‘Dance and Laugh Amongst the Rotten’ are available across multiple formats at the Season of Mist E-Shop.
