Drummer Richard Christy had this to say about performing at the festival: “I am beyond honored to be playing the Orion Music and More Fest with Charred Walls of the Damned! I’ve been a Metallica fan since the age of 12 and Lars Ulrich is a huge influence on my drumming, so to be invited by the mighty Metallica to play their festival is a dream come true to say the least. I was actually planning on attending this festival when I first heard about it and now to find out that we’re actually playing just blows my mind! We’ll see you at Orion Music and More!”
The band’s latest album Cold Winds On Timeless Days was released in October 2011 via Metal Blade Records.
