Russian goth metal band Inner Missing‘s cup brimmeth over with shadowed emotion and introspective, deep reflections. Their records are up for streaming now on many platforms. I suggest you start with Ghostwriter on Bandcamp (“The Loss”, track 2, is especially epic and well constructed) and work your way backwards. They have plenty of remarkable compositions. All 7 albums are¬†available for the first time on streaming platforms such as Spotify, Deezer, Apple Music, etc. via Finnish record label Inverse Records.

The band has shared stages with My Dying Bride, Katatonia, Saturnus and Throes of Dawn just to name a few and Inner Missing is highly recommended for the fans of aforementioned bands.

“Does anyone remember where we put that tomb? Just scowl and pretend you know.”

One of my most anticipated for 2020 was Forgotten Tomb’s Nihilistic Estrangement and boy, does it deliver. The May 8th Agonia release is streaming below and has a mouth full of very sharp teeth to go along with the melody rich yet heavy black metal glory. This is another classic for the Italian band. Fucking love this album/act.

Nihilistic Estrangement was produced by Ferdinando “Herr Morbid” Marchisio (vocal, guitars) and mixed by Alessandro “Algol” Comerio (bass). Jack Control mastered the album at Enormous Door Studios (Darkthrone, Aura Noir, Martyrdod).
