Electric Wizard, the UK-based doom outfit led by the provocative Jus Oborn, have the outfit’s highest chart debut to date, with their Spinefarm Records’ debut, Time to Die, entering Billboard’s Top 200 at 62.

The nine-song release, featuring singles “I am Nothing” and “SadioWitch,” is also one of the band’s most critically-acclaimed to date with Mojo Magazine declaring the album “the most uncompromising album of the year” and Pitchfork saying the album “deserves every accolade thrown its way” and going on to say “they’ve surpassed expectations and proved that they’re still as vital as they ever were.”

Produced by Oborn, the album was recorded at Toe Rag Studios in East London, with analog gear used exclusively throughout, with finishing touches done at Skyhammer Studio in “deepest, darkest” Cheshire by Chris Fielding.
