Exhorder bassist Frankie Sparcello passes away at age 40

Exhorder Bass PictureWhile details are scarce, the New Orleans-based thrash band Exhorder have announced the passing of their bass player Frankie Sparcello.

Sparcello recorded the band’s second album “The End” under Roadrunner Records in the early 1990’s and stayed on to tour with the band until their breakup in ’92. Sparcello was a part of the group’s reunion in 2009 and continued touring up until his death. The group was working on a new album before his passing.

Lead singer Kyle Thomas had the following to say:

“Don’t know quite what to say, so I will say I love you and see you on the other side some day.”
