Vocalist Frankie Palmeri of Queens based metalcore band Emmure, was recently interviewed about the band’s fifth studio album ‘Slave to the Game‘. In the interview, Palmeri talks about his feelings about the vibe of the new album. You can check out the whole interview here.

He states “When I say the record is really heavy or whatever, I mean, it’s aggressive and it’s just fun to listen to. It’s something you can put on and you can rock it all day and still feel good about it.”

This album is also the debut of new drummer Mark Castillo who has previously played with Between the Buried and Me as well as Bury Your Dead.

Emmure will support ‘Slave to the Game’ with a full North American Tour in May of 2012.

Slave to the Game‘ is due out on April 10, 2012 via Victory Records.
