Ghost B.C.’s new album just topped the Swedish charts

ghostbc2013cdIn an oddly awesome turn of events, Ghost B.C.‘s new record, Infestissumam, has risen to the top of the Swedish music charts, according to the Swedish music-industry web site, selling nearly five times as many copies as the number 2 spot, Miss Li’s Wolves. Apparently Sweden just can’t get enough of those lovable ghouls.

What makes this even better is the fact that four CD manufacturers initially just refused to print the CD because of some of the deluxe edition’s artwork. The manufacturers all objected to the Gustave Dore-inspired sacrilegious imagery, which apparently depicts something like a forest nymph orgy.
