Horse Called War

Horse Called War hails from Oklahoma City, a place where the earth is stained in blood. In a state with such a brutal history, is seems the very ground they walk welcomes the ground and pound sound they create. Citing current influences from Job for a Cowboy and Whitechapel, they break through genre labels and carve their own niche in the metal world. Machine gun drums, rapid-fire guitar riffs, and voracious vocals define their brand, as well as keeping their feet firmly on the ground. Horse Called War strives to bring a meaningful measure of reality regardless of societal norms and expectations through the forms and framework of technical groove metal. They have performed with the likes of Anthrax, Lamb of God, Behemoth, and Children of Bodom. This quintessential quintet already shook the scene with 2007’s “Becoming” and now, they ready up for their new release to drop early this summer.
