Very progressive L.A. metal band Intronaut have entered the studio to record their as of yet untitled fourth studio album. The drums will be recorded by John Haddan at Trench Studio and Derek Donley will handle all of the other elements. The band will be working with artist David D’Andrea for the artwork/layout and Andrew Schneider will be mixing the album.

You can watch a video of the practicing a new song here.

The album will be a follow up to the bands 2010 Valley of Smoke and is set for release in Spring of 2013 via Century Media. Frontman/guitarist Sacha Dunable comments: “After a year of intense, full-time writing mode, we are elated to begin recording our fourth full length this week. It’s a little early to have perspective on how it compares to our past records, but it should be a banger. Expect a wildly technical, emotionally charged, organic sounding record.”
