KELLS from Lyon, France are the oddball nu-metal influenced band who truly rock. It helps that they don’t only have one source of inspiration or seem to care about “genre” as much as being open. KELLS are known for their blend of modern and older metal with quirky textures and a sense of groove lost on many other bands obsessed with speed. KELLS are also known for featuring the show stopping legs and at times throaty or hypnotic range of vocalist Virginie Goncalves. I discovered them about a year ago and kept an eye on them, hoping they’d start making a bigger splash.
KELLS have now announced a new European tour. The trek, which starts on September 13th, will see KELLS follow-up recent runs supporting APOCALYPTICA with a run of headline dates across France, Belgium, and Luxembourg. A full list of tour dates can be found below.
KELLS are touring in support of their latest album, Anachromie. Anachromie is streaming in its entirety at the KELLS official Bandcamp page and should be played loudly.
