The Faceless are now drumless, as sticksmith Lyle Cooper has announced his departure. The band is currently playing a small United Kingdom tour and will hopefully find a replacement before their slot on the upcoming Cradle of Filth, Decapitated, and The Agonist run in the United States.
Here is what Cooper had to say about the situation:
“Over the last couple of years it seemed that the interests, goals and musical approach of the band was not that of my own. Also, managerial issues became too frequent with no resolution. These issues, I felt, made it hard for me as an individual to produce as a creative and enthusiastic member.”
The band is still touring in support of Autotheism, which came out last year on Sumerian Records.
