Metal Church guitarist Kurdt Vanderhoof recently told Music Life Radio that the reunited thrash legends have been working on a new album for a potential late spring release. It will be their first album since 2008’s This Present Wasteland.

You can listen to the interview, which is over 60 minutes long, here.

Last October, Metal Church announced that they would be reuniting once again for 70,000 Tons of Metal, which many call “the world’s biggest heavy metal cruise” and will take place later this month. They currently do not have any more shows scheduled besides that appearance.
