Music Community speaks out against hideous draconian anti abortion movement

Posted by Morgan Ywain Evans on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 9:07 PM (PST)

First off, if you can please donate to Yellow Fund to help women in Alabama. Banning abortions and making it a felony or worse so women face jail and lose the right to vote is evil, disgusting and backwards. It also doesn’t stop them, only makes it less safe. Why don’t they pass a mandatory child support law for fathers? I know why.

Using the platform here quick to boost some people in the music community who have cried foul on this barbaric bullshit.

Is this just a way to swing voters for next election?? Doubtful. Tho, STATE ELECTIONS MATTER ‼️ Please, let’s donate to @aclu_nationwide & @plannedparenthood to help continue the fight against this insanity. 😓😓😓 THESE MEN STAND TO MAKE BILLIONS OFF PRIVATELY FUNDED PRISONS & increasing number of felons who wouldn’t be able to vote😓 Banking on women’s BODIES & RIGHTS to get them RICH & RE-ELECTED = #evil #evil #evil #evilwhitemen ‼️ Ladies, ARE YOU ANGRY? 😡😡😡 #Repost @camillebwaddington ・・・ 2019 . rg @guardian these are the 25 men who voted to pass the most restrictive abortion law in the United States, outlawingthe procedure at all stages of pregnancy. the near blanket ban contains an exemption for when a woman s health is at seriousrisk, but NOT FOR RAPE OR INCEST doctors who perform the procedure could face up to 99 years in prison . 🤮🤮🤮

this is happening in america. we. know. our. history. when fascism rises, one of the most important pillars of control is reproductive freedom. if you control the wombs, you control the population, the wealth, the entire agenda. i am going to fight this darkness with my whole life. we are all so busy. but as a woman who had an abortion at 17 & therefore got to follow this path to here and now, with a huge following, career & a voice to shout with, i feel like it’s my job to protect all the women behind me. i’ll shout til i’m hoarse. CHOICE. CHOICE. CHOICE. ‪i am – totally coincidentally – touring the south this weekend (may 17/18). i am going to turn my shows in atlanta and nashville into points of action & fury. every touring artist NOW should be galvanizing and organizing. this is nuts. we have to fight back with all we’ve got.‬ we have to. if you can, you must. if you want to come to my atlanta show on the 17th, i’m effectively giving tickets away to anyone who can’t afford them. link in stories.
