The_Contortionist_-_LanguageIndiana prog-corers (new sub genre anyone?) The Contortionist have just dropped a video for their new song “Language I: Intuition”.  It’s a pretty mellow song overall but definitely not bad if this is what you’re into.  I personally like some of their recorded stuff, and although I bought a shirt, I’ve been pretty underwhelmed both times I’ve seen them live.  Not to say they aren’t good live by any means, as they were very talented,  it just wasn’t quite what I was expecting at the time.

You can see the video by clicking right here.

The song comes from The Contortionist’s forthcoming album Language which should be out September 16 via Good Fight/E-One. This will be their third studio album and the first to feature new singer Mike Lessard (Last Chance To Reason).  Lessard had this to say about the video:

“Very pleased to share this video! It was a very special process for me to be able to capture some of the natural beauty of where I call home, the place that was a large part of my lyrical inspiration for the album. It was also a pleasure being able to work with Corey Norman and the Bonfire Films crew. We hope everyone enjoys!”YouTube Preview Image
