Austrian black metallers Belphegor have posted a short NSFW trailer for their music video “Impaled Upon The Tongue of Sathan.” The video, which is said to “look at depraved blood rites which celebrate the liberation of man through death” can be seen here. It is set to be released in early January.

Bassist for the band has this to say about the music video,

“The clip aims to strip down the viewer’s psyche with an onslaught of sadistic sex, musick and magick. The ritual action caught on tape was also inspired in part by the world famous works of Viennese Actionists such as Hermann Nitsch and Gunter Brus. Rachael Kozak took over the role of the possessed Sukkubus. As Pro-Domina she was perfect and totally into the role. The blood cut deeper than any drug. The process of such an intense shoot served as a cathartic experience for all involved, making what went on behind the scenes just as important as the final outcome of the visuals. Expect this ultra shocking piece to be unveiled first week of January. We decided to anchor the clip on, to avoid censorship troubles with moral persecutors.”

The band’s upcoming album “Blood Magick Necromance” is set to be released January 14th 2011 on Nuclear Blast Records. They released their last album, “Walpurgis Rites – Hexenwahn” in 2009.
