finntroll-blodsvept-coverFinnish black metallers Finntroll have premiered the title track off their new album Blodsvept. You can check out the new song right here.

The band commented on the song: “‘Blodsvept’ is the track that sets the tone for this new abomination of an album. This song is perfect for driving – Driving for your life, that is, while being chased by a gang of trolls, in a catapult, on a motorway! Pull out your sun-spectacles from your glove compartment and honk if you love blood and guts!!!”

Blodsvept is the band’s sixth studio album and was recorded at Sonic Pump Studios in Helsinki, Finland. Mastering duties were handled by Mike Jussila at Finnvox Studios. Henri ‘Trollhorn’ Sorvali and the band produced the album themselves, the album artwork was handled by the band’s own guitar player, Samuli ‘Skyrmer’ Ponsimaa, and even the production for the upcoming video clip will be the brainchild of the trolls.

The album is set to be released at the end of March/beginning of April via Century Media. Click right here to see a list of the actual release dates, an album tracklisting and a bigger picture of the album’s artwork.
