In a recent interview with The Village Voice, Phil Anselmo said that he’s open to the idea of Pantera reunion tour, with Zakk Wylde (Ozzy Osbourne and Black Label Society) filling in for the band’s late guitarist and his friend Dimebag. Here’s what Phil had to say:
“I talked to Zakk about two weeks ago, and he’s very open for it. He’s got an open mind about it. But, truth be told, Vince has got a grudge against me that is really unfounded. And, honestly, I’ve always had a wide-open door when it comes to Vince.”
Pantera called it quits back in 2003, three years after the release of their last album Reinventing the Steel. A year later, 2004, their guitarist Dimebag was murdered.
