Waking up on an early Sunday afternoon after a very late night. Celebrating the spontaneous news that Clover is playing with SubRosa near me tonight on a one off from SubRosa’s dates with Wovehand and I didn’t even know about this particular gig til an hour ago! Also celebrating the amazing news of the ICP Juggalo March decimating the pathetic “Mother Of All” Dumpster Fire MAGA Moron marches, which I will laugh my ass about forever as the losers slink back to Kekistan. I also just had a crazy night where I saw an 80 year old cowboy driving around with a wood splitter attached to his Prius (!!!) to practice trailer parking because he said the government was trying to say he was too old to drive anymore. He also had a gold rolex and a pistol and was yelling about how a lack of eating pussy was destroying society, I swear to God. Between him and a random metal head on the street who started screaming Mercyful’s “Into My Coven” at a sloppy wedding after party to freak them out, it was a crazy night at the bar I was at.
But anyway, we are here to talk about Rammstein. Can we all agree that this band have ascended to absolute insane heights no one perhaps ever saw coming when many first heard of them around Nu Metal times? And wow, did they ever transcend that limiting tag!
Blabbermouth REPORTS that RAMMSTEIN guitarist Richard Kruspe says that the band’s upcoming album could be its last. The reason why kind of makes sense:
“…somehow we managed to move back to the beginning of the world of RAMMSTEIN where we, basically, are very emotional and very enthusiastic about writing again. It wasn’t like that before. We came back to a point that everyone is really respecting the other one, and it feels kind of like a circle almost, that we start from zero again, which feels nice.”
Man, I wish some of the bands I had been in had been able to do that and keep members instead of becoming failed democracies or back stabbing and imploding on themselves. But anyway, I am sure whatever the band do it will be awesome and we are eager to hear it. If it is the Neue Deutsche Härte acts swan song, they ought only be proud of their massive, freaky and unlikely legacy.
