Well, here is a kick ass surprise. Saint Vitus, the legendary band known more for their doom side, actually once seeded the hardcore scene with their unruly ways. “Useless” the iconic band’s latest track, sounds like it could be from the halcyon days of Black Flag. This song made me pumped! I was not expecting to hear a fast Vitus tune today and with such expert demonstration of an older and frankly to me much more enjoyable style of hardcore and punk than most of what we get nowadays. The band’s self-titled album (I am getting low key chills typing that thinking of the import) is out May 17th. Man, I am really stoked for this now.
