There’s good news today for Slayer fans everywhere, and really who’s not? Artisan News recently caught up with guitarist Kerry King and asked him about the band’s future recording plans, and it looks like they may be getting in the studio sometime in March or April.
This is also really good news because it means that guitarist Jeff Hanneman has recovered from the flesh eating bacterial infection he got from a spider bite last year. A.K.A the most metal thing that could possibly happen if you play guitar for Slayer.

This will be the bands twelfth studio album, and first since 2009′s World Painted Blood which released on American Recordings.
Kerry King had this to say about recording a new Slayer album:
“We go back out May 25th in Europe, then we’ll be back in the States, of course, hopefully we’ll get in the studio to record before then, ’cause it’s time-consuming. We’re looking to get in March and April, so hopefully be done by the time we’re outta here.”
