Song of the Week: “Censorship” from Wovenwar

Fresh from watching Fear The Walking Dead and believing more than ever that Chris is an unbelievably stupid, self-centered murderous whiny fuckboi who needs to get eaten ASAP to stop wasting airtime on a mostly otherwise solid show, it was a relief to find a rad as fuck new Wovenwar song in the old metal inbox to ease my stressed out at a tv show state. Damn, these guys keep pushing themselves!

As I Lay Dying fans will be stoked at how heavy this is while it also still retains a lot of Shane’s range as a singer. It’s also uplifting enough to appeal to fans of the first record or something like Nothing More or Memphis May Fire, for example.

Check out “Censorship” HERE via Metal Blade’s fine folks, where you can also pre-order the new anticipated record Honor Is Dead. It was written as more of a group effort as opposed to the first which was crafted mostly before Shane joined the band. Seems like things are off to a great start with this first number!
