Soundgarden have set King Animal as the title of their reunion album, which will finally be released on November 13th. About the record, guitarist Kim Thayil tells Rolling Stone magazine, “It re-establishes that we still rock, we’re still heavy, and we’re still a little weird.”
The band has also posted a 37-second YouTube clip that previews “Worse Dreams”, which is supposedly taken from King Animal. Go here to check it out.
Soundgarden released their last studio album, Down on the Upside, back in 1996 on A&M Records. They split up in 1997, but reformed thirteen years later.
