What can we say? Stan Lee, RIP. His impact changed the world and brought worlds of endless imagination to millions. A few reactions I grabbed initially off social media below. I am taking the day off or maybe I’ll stream Ant Man & The Wasp cuz this super sucks, fam. At least he got to see at the end of his life that his impact was never going away. Excelsior.

Stan Lee was a visionary and a pioneer. I owe a lot to him for personally shaping my childhood fantasy worlds, my appreciation for art on all levels, & for teaching me humanness and humility through his wonderfully insightful stories. He will be missed. Long Live FOOM ! pic.twitter.com/coMUHWXGKV

Today I was working on Issue #5 of Shuri. I took a nap and woke up to learn that Stan Lee had passed. I’m glad he was able to see what he started explode into a vibrant universe loved by so many.
Tomorrow, I’ll get back to work and continue building on what he began. #RIPStanLee pic.twitter.com/366Sm2vrni

So I’m driving Ms. Idea (6) to school. Out of nowhere, she asks me“Who’s your favorite X-Man?” “Mine is Storm”, she said. I replied “Bobby Drake, the Ice Man!”. It struck me in that instant what Stan Lee had accomplished in creating Common Ground for a 50 yr old guy & his kid

Stan Lee, you made misfits cool. You made heroes out of the most unlikely of people. Thank you for celebrating nerds. pic.twitter.com/iTojUWXV7w
