The Royal‘s Dreamcatchers is pound for pound ahead of most metalcore bands, a refreshingly convincing motivational record in an increasingly banal (the last few years) genre. The Royal guys are not bereft of imagination or so limited by cliche as many bands in the genre, instead pushing themselves and focusing on songwriting, while remembering what they loved about metalcore in the first place.
