German melodeath metallers The Very End have announced that drummer Lars Janosch, a founding member of the band who has played on both albums “Vs. Life” and “Mercy & Misery”, recently left the band due to changes in his private life. The band has also announced the addition of new drummer Daniel Zeman from Enemy of the Sun.
Janosch comments: “Due to private reasons I won’t be able to play with The Very End for the time being. This decision has been made by the band and myself after a considerable time. Of course I’ll be at hand with help and advice for my boys as far as my family life permits me to do so! Thanx to all fans for a great time!!!”

THE VERY END comment:”With mixed feelings we announce the departure of our drummer Lars. The band does not only lose a founding member, but first and foremost a friend. Yet the decision was mutual and for the benefit of THE VERY END. We wish Lars and his family all the best! On the other hand we are very happy to already welcome a new and likewise great drummer – Daniel Zeman! Daniel has already been taking part in the video shoot for “A Hole In The Sun” and will make his live debut as a firm TVE-member at our January 2011 release shows!”
Daniel Zeman comments:”I joined Th Very End now! A sonic hit in your face, yet rocking & grooving – exactly my cup of tea! The band is well attuned, creative and open to new ideas – and great guys on top of it all! I’m thrilled to be part of that!”
