One of the most anticipated albums of the year is upon us! Alien thrash masters Vektor are back with Terminal Redux, a record every blogger with better taste seems to have been chomping at the bit waiting for. The band are fresh off a run with legends Voivod and the spectacular West Coast doom/experimental band Eight Bells and made a lot of new fans, but this release is sure to get even more people in their corner.
Invisible Oranges has a stream HERE, the first music from the band in awhile. Expect more mind bending guitar damage paired with thrash staple energy. The closest thing besides the weirder chords of Voivod I could compare it to might be the recent killer VHOL record Deeper Than Sky. Somebody throw those two acts on tour together quick for another ambitious space thrash tour, please.
Anyway, we’re more chuffed than Ice Pirates with space herpes over this beast of a record. So far we like “LCD” the best, a real brain melter. Man, this is already a stellar year for metal, huh?
