It is based on the classic Vreid sound, but also is a good illustrator of the new doors we have opened with the album” comments the bands bass player and songwriter Hváll.
”It was a pleasure to work with such professional and creative people” continues Hváll. ”The filming itself went very smooth, and we had a great dialogue with the producers both by building the storyline, as well as in the process of the after work”. Lyrically Vreid has also entered new landscapes with ”V”. ”The Sound Of The River” is inspired by the book ”Markens Grøde/Growth of the soil”, which gained the legendary and controversial Norwegian author Knut Hamsun the Nobel prize in literature in 1920.
