Walking Bombs has a new collaborative track with multi-instrumentalist Martyr Art premiering today at Svbterranean RIGHT HERE.

Early November sees the release of the PEACE QUEST ep (Pre order HERE), a collaborative effort that also features industrial artist Kris Bernard, Jay Andersen of grunge punks Surmiser (who recorded and mixed the EP), chaos sound painter Gridfailure, doom punk bassist Laurie Safdie plus a mastering job by Tad Doyle at Witch Ape Studios. The second single and title track of sorts is called “Peace Quest: Ephedra Fragilis”.

Project founder Morgan Y. Evans explains:

“Jay had this stompy structure that was High On Fire influenced and he played drums and guitar on it,…We sent it to Martyr Art and he added a sick solo and psychotic fuzz bass, both of which added an almost Pantera feel to a few sections. I’m thrilled. The song is about how hard it is to keep your temper in check when under attack or also facing naysayers and Grima Wormtongue types in life…but trying your best to be peaceful even when super triggered. It’s funny because you literally never know what genre you will get from this project of mine. The next record will not be this heavy as a handful of the PEACE QUEST tunes.”
