If you were only allowed to pick one black metal album to hear for the rest of 2019, I would strongly suggest you choose False's Portent. A dizzying leap forward from an already very talented and rightfully well regarded act, it does not take long into ten minute opener "A Victual to Our Dead Selves" for the song to grab your undivided attention and never let go. Dedicated to the memory of several friends, the record is professional, passionate, heartbreaking and exhilarating. "Rime On The Song Of Returning" is an exceptionally poetic ode to natural abandon that seems to question our size in the scope of the march of time. The band have never sounded more precise, empowered and fiery, like there is a fortune teller at band practice urging them to claim destiny's heights. If this album holds significance of metal's future it is one that honors the best of the past while boding very well for the genre's horizons.

Minnesota metalcore five-piece For All Those Sleeping have premiered a music video for their song “Incomplete Me”.
The video is the title track off of the band’s upcoming album which is set to be released on June 23 via Fearless Records.
Guitarist David Volgman-Stevens had this to say about the video:
“Since ‘Incomplete Me’ is such a raw and personal song we wanted the music video to reflect that, that’s why instead of shooting the typical “Hollywood” music video, we shot it in our hometown (St. Cloud, Minnesota) and kept it true to ourselves. We love how it turned out and represents the song!”
For All Those Sleeping will be on the Vans Warped Tour all summer long, check out the tour dates and the video for “Incomplete Me” here.Add to My Radar
Oh Nostalgia, how you hit me while listening to Fearless Records’ latest Punk Goes 90s Vol. 2.
While listening to this entire album I felt like running into the depths of my garage to find all my old 90s objects, Pokemon cards, Togs, and Lite-Brights. It would only make sense to have the best 90s objects while listening to a collection of songs that created the perfect 90s play-list.

Taken from their Fearless Records debut of the same name, gothic metalcore band Motionless In White show off their love for their fans in their latest video “Creatures.” The song was comprised by fan submitted lyrics.
In my interview with singer Chris Motionless, he states:”We wanted to do something that involved our fans more than just buying a record or buying a shirt or coming to a show. Just trying to find a way to get people more involved with our band. Were also trying to show that we are serious about our fans, rather than just saying “oh we love our fans” and doing nothing to show that love. I had twelve songs for the record and decided I could sacrifice writing lyrics for one of them and speak their words, since I’m sure a lot of people have a lot of different things to say.”

MR Exclusive Interview: Chris “Motionless” Cerulli talks self-expression, love of chicken wings, and the root of all evil
Greetins cretins! Once again, I have brought you some fresh vittles to sink your teeth into. Before the show, I got to sit down with lead singer Chris “Motionless” Cerulli of Motionless In White for a great one on one talk. In true fashion, he was most passionate about his stance on self-expression and acceptance and his love for his fans, or “creatures,” as he likes to call them. Also, I learned he is an advocate for animal rights and has a massive handshake. Motionless In White is out on the Ignite The World Tour with For Today, Chelsea Grin, For The Fallen Dreams, In The Midst of Lions, and a special appearance by Lansing, Kansas’s Embrace This Day.
