Album art revealed for Hackneyed’s “Carnival Cadavre”

Posted by jessepac on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 1:34 PM (PST)

hackneyed band pictureThe third album by German band Hackneyed is due out on August 22 in Europe and August 30 in North America via Lifeforce Records.

Commented Hackneyed: “An artwork ‘having hand and foot’ (German saying for ‘holding water’) in the true sense of the word!!! The truth behind the ‘Carnival Cadavre’ is only revealed after a second glance at the bright fairground and circus atmosphere with Ferris wheel and circus tents. And neither on the cover nor in the songs a lack of blood, guts or Hackneyed’s very own black humor can be observed.”

Hackneyed’s last album, “Burn After Reaping”, was released on August 14, 2009 via Nuclear Blast Records.
