Regarding the material for the band forthcoming album, the band previously said in a statement, “This time we really put a lot of time and effort on the pre-production of the stuff. It’s going to be an epic and massive attack of ever-flowing stream of Finnish ‘melodic death metal,’ straight from the souls of black.”

“Here it is, the OG’s musical evolution and career of 15 years in metal and this album surely is finally the musical diamond what we were starting to chase once we started this band, finally every piece of the puzzle are here and the notes on the right places! This is northern death metal without limitations, really melodic and intelligent but still aggressive while quoting lines from prog to even AOR and no less than having also my teenage idol sir Dan Swanö himself singing some stuff here, like we say it – this is adult oriented death metal in it’s most epic, melodic & purest form!” says guitarist Markus

Nervecell finish writing process for new album

Posted by Geoffy-Dee on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 2:07 PM (PST)

Dubai thrashers Nervecell have completed writing the music for the new, as yet untitled album, set for a release early 2011 on Lifeforce Records in Europe and Spellbind Records in the Middle East. This will mark the follow up to their 2009 debut “Preaching Venom” which was released in Europe in October 2009 on Lifeforce Records.

Stated the band: “We are really thrilled that the writing process for the new album has been successfully completed and the band is eager to enter the studio next month and start recording. We’ve been working really hard on this record through out this year and in between the tours we’ve had in Europe and Asia. All the pre-production for the songs are done and we’re very happy with how everything has turned out for us so far.

The new songs are sounding aggressive, fast and dark! The fans can expect a heavy dosage of old school death metal, modern thrash metal, intertwined with our touch of Eastern melodies and brutality. Needless to say there will be more exciting news and surprises featured on this new record to follow. The album title and more details will be announced in the upcoming weeks, so make sure you stay tuned!”

Nervecell, a death metal band hailing from Dubai, fresh off a tour of India, mention entering the studio in December to start recording a new album in a new interview with Loucifer Speaks. Even though they have been around since 1999, they have only put out one studio album under Lifeforce records in 2008. This is not surprising seeing as how the band is always doing tours with the likes of Behemoth, Machinehead, and Sepultra. In the interview they talk about the music industry and what is in the future of the band.
