The man behind the voice that revitalized a band in mourning is reported to be going home.

Eddie will be joining All Shall Perish to record a new album. If they’ll tour together afterwords is yet to be seen.

The full All Shall Perish line up will be:

Eddie Hermida – Vocals
Ben Orum – Guitar
Chris Storey – Guitar
Caysen Russo – Bass
Matt Kuykendall – Drums
Craig Betit – Additional Vocals

There’s nothing to suggest this puts Suicide Silence‘s future into question. The band is currently kicking ass with Korn through the rest of the month, and will be dropping a EP, Sacred Words, which will feature the single of the same name, as well as three live tracks from RockPart 2015 and other unreleased tracks on October 23.

So basically, Eddie may be pulling double-duty, but that means he’s doing us double the favor! Plenty of deathcore naysayers out there, but All Shall Perish and Suicide Silence are fucking titans. I’ll be slamming Sacred Words until the new All Shall Perish music comes out.

Check back here for a Sacred Words review and for all your heavy metal news! \mm/

Former All Shall Perish vocalist Eddie Hermida has already made his live debut with Suicide Silence.

In preparation for that album, I’d like to look at some deep cuts from both the three albums Hermida did with All Shall Perish as well as all the Lucker-led albums, EPs and demos Suicide Silence has released.

Commented guitarist Ben Orum: “We regret to inform our fans that All Shall Perish has been forced to cancel our European run with Caliban in February. We have recently run into some problems outside the band’s control which forces us to cancel this tour with our good friends in Caliban. We know they understand but even so, we apologize to them. We also would like to apologize to our fans who have been waiting so patiently to see ASP again. We have already confirmed many dates for the summer festivals in Europe so our European fans will be seeing us very soon!“
