Philadelphian blues rockers Something Like a Monument came onto the scene in 2012.
The seeds of the band were planted early in 2007 when high school friends Jamie Shemanski and Don Custer started playing music together. With Custer on bass and Shemanski singing, playing guitar and handling most of the songwriting they recorded and released an EP entitled Hymns From the Attic.
The friends took a hiatus while Don attended college.
Then in 2011 they were back in business when they cemented the band’s lineup with the addition of Josh Aptner on drums and Jeff Lucci on guitar.
Last October they released their debut EP, entitled … And the Crowd Goes Mild.
