FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY have announced The Great Collapse North American tour in continued support of their new LP of the same name. Support will come from TOMBS and MOON TOOTH. Dates kick off in early June and stretch through the first week in July. Tickets will go on sale Friday 4/21.

“We’re happy to announce The Great Collapse North American tour,” says vocalist Joe Badolato. “Tombs and Moon Tooth are sick live bands, and make for a fun mixed bill. A little different than our normal touring partners, but we’re excited to play for some new fans. Lots of new songs on this one, and a few old ones we haven’t pulled out in years.”

Fit For An Autopsy released The Great Collapse on March 17, 2017 via Entertainment One (eOne) / Good Fight Music in North America and SPV overseas. Initial sales of the album landed the band on a variety of Billboard charts, some of which the first time in the band’s career. The Great Collapse debuted at #6 Hard Music, #9 Indie, #16 Rock and #47 Current Top 200.

If you’re like a lot of metalheads you have your go to bands and the rest of the time browse sites or magazines with a certain lifelong true dedication mixed with dulled near boredom at the car crash many bands regularly call “releases” or “promotion”. Especially if it isn’t your favorite sub-genre of heavy. Granted, we all have more open minded days than others but it is nice when I see a band live and then the next time they release something I’m much more curious.

Such was the case today when seeing Decibel has a new video premiere from Fit For An Autopsy. Listening to the unfuckwithable excellence of the new Tau Cross and drinking coffee half-baked while also corresponding with cuties and/or musician’s, I took a break to check my mail and saw the FFAA press release. While Tau Cross is by far one of the best records of the year, the full bore if much different FFAA live set I witnessed not so long ago has me curious enough to check the new video out.

The new song is the title track from their forthcoming new LP due out this fall. “Being able to bring a visual representation of our art to the fans is a big deal to us,” says guitarist and producer Will Putney. Directed by Max Moore, this is the first music video the band has ever done. Putney continues, “Working with Max Moore allowed us to do that easily. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome and are really excited to finally release Fit For An Autopsy’s first ever music video.”

Watch it HERE. The simple and effective blend of darkness, weird shit and performance make it a winner. Much less gimmicky than people writing these guys off might’ve expected.

This from the FFAT boys Facebook:
It only took 7 years, but Fit For An Autopsy has inevitably been “Nate Johnsoned”. If you know anything about his past you know that we were left with with out a singer, at the worst possible time. So with out anymore bullshit or banter, we are happy to welcome Greg Wilburn (oblige, the devastated) to the Fit For An Autopsy team. We will be doing all the tours that have been announced, Including New England Metal and Hardcore fest and all the shows surround it. #natesfuckingoutgregsfuckingin
Glad they didn’t get derailed by this, cuz they are a killer band. Good luck, homies.
