Naildown to begin recording new album

Finnish melodic death metal band Naildown have entered the studio to begin work on a yet to be named new album.  They’ve chosen Sound Supreme studios in Hämeenlinna, Finland to begin the task. Naildown features Norther guitarist Daniel Freyberg and this will be their third studio album.  According to Freyberg the new material will be recorded at several different studios “without stressful deadlines. . . This is gonna be long process, but the engine is finally running again.”

Naildown’s last album Dreamcrusher was released in March 2007 on Spinefarm Records

New Music: Norther Releases Sneak Peek of Tracks from Forthcoming “Circle Regenerated”

Finnish  death/black metalers, Norther, is set to release their latest album, “Circle Regenerated” with new vocalist, Aleksi Sihvonen. Slated for an April 19th release on Century Media Records, the band is offering fans a 4-minute peek at several of the new tracks, available on their Facebook page.

The departure of vocalist / guitarist Petri Lindroos (now in Ensiferum) in 2009 called for Norther to revamp their lineup with former Imperanon frontman, Aleksi Sihvonen, and Naildown guitarist Daniel Freyburg.

“Circle Regenerated” is the follow-up to 2008’s “N”, which took the band to #5 on Finland’s official album charts.
