A Plea For Purging is hitting the road again, sadly this will be their last time doing so. The band is calling it quits and heading out on a final tour appropriately named the Quit Your Band and Get a Job Tour. The band is calling this an “indefinite hiatus.” The band will be alongside their friends in As Hell Retreats while on the road this summer.

Tennessee metalcore act, A Plea For Purging, announce they will be releasing new album entitled “The Life & Death Of A Plea For Purging.” They also released a new song entitled “The Life,” which you can check out here.
The new album will be released November 8th through Facedown Records.

Facedown Records announced that they re-signed with metalcore act A Plea For Purging.
Facedown Records commented the news:
“A Plea For Purging came to Facedown Records in 2007 with a reputation for fire-breathing and amazing technical ability. The band has since released three albums, the most recent being 2010’s The Marriage of Heaven and Hell, a terrifyingly honest look at the age old wolf-in-sheep’s-clothing theme and an auditory thrill. Now the band is looking toward releasing the follow up to The Marriage with Facedown Records in late 2011.”

There are some bands more adept at riding the chaos than others in the storied history of underground music.
