Sourvein premiere “Aquanauts”

North Carolina sludge doom veterans Sourvein have released their newest track “Aquanauts”.

Sourvein will release Aquatic Occult via Metal Blade Records on April 8 and will be the band’s debut with Metal Blade.

The album will feature performances by Randy Blythe, Stig Miller and Reed Mullin.

Metal Blade launches “6 Bands in 60 Seconds” for Spring 2016

Brimstone Coven, Gehennah, Ketzer, Sourvein, Artillery and Accuser are in the spotlight this spring in “6 Bands in 60 Seconds”.

The project was started in November by Brian Slagel, Metal Blade Records and RED Music.

Winter’s bands included Act of Defiance, Rivers of Nihil, Twitching Tongues, Culture Killer, Visigoth, and Harlott.

Graves at Sea to conquer Europe

Portland doom metallers Graves at Sea are preparing to conquer Europe!

They will be supported by fellow down tuners, Sourvein.

While you’re waiting for the tour to start and for Graves at Sea’s EP This Place Is Poison to drop, you can smash your skull to Graves at Sea covering Black Sabbath’s “Orchid” and “Lord of This World” as well as head over to Sourvein’s bandcamp and drag along to the entire doom-y discography.

North Carolina’s kings of sludge Sourvein are currently streaming the opening track “Fangs” from their upcoming full-length studio album “Black Fangs”. Gun Shy Assassin is featuring the song from the latest album which is scheduled for release on June 21 via Candlelight Records. Featuring ten bottom-heavy, feedback-soaked, doom-tinged odes of heavy, Decibel Magazine has said “These riffs are so filthy and dirty, it’s like being held facedown in the mud.” Check out “Fangs” over here.

Sourvein is also set to kick off a near three-week U.S. tour this July. The chaos will commence in Philadelphia with Jucifer on July 6 and level 16 more cities before finishing up at Ground Zero in Spartanburg on July 23. Sourvein will also appear with Nachtmystium on a few scattered dates.
