Posted by JDKleinhans on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 12:41 AM (PST)

Welcome to Metal Riot’s Cover Art Battle! Every week we try and show the best-of-the-best in metal cover art, ranging from the fantastically illustrated to hauntingly photographed and everything in between.

This week has some great releases from a bunch of bands we’ve never heard of, some that we have, and of course some sweet ass covers; Alcest, Azaghal, Bleeding Through, Dark Suns, Dragonland, El Caco, Liberteer, Mystic Prophecy, and Vendetta.

Go here to vote and declare this week’s le’ champione of le’ cover art!

***UPDATE*** Alcest – Les Voyages de L’Ame is this week’s winner!
