This record was made possible by YOUR help! Thank you.”

Music Video: A Sound Of Thunder’s “Kill That Bitch”

Posted by Fireball13 on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 8:35 AM (PST)

Washington, D.C. hard rocking metal band A Sound of Thunder have premiered the music video for their song “Kill That Bitch.” The song is off the band’s new album Out of the Darkness which was recently released via Nightmare Records.

Guitarist Josh Schwartz commented on the video:

“Never let it be said that we take ourselves too seriously! We had a ton of fun making this video and hope people have fun watching it. The actress in the video is actually Nina’s best friend from elementary school, so pretending to chop her up and stuff her in a garbage bag was especially surreal. The video is so obviously tongue in cheek that we hope nobody takes offense, but just for the record, A SOUND OF THUNDER does not support cold-blooded axe-murder…unless they really, really have it coming.”

Washington, D.C. heavy rock outfit, A Sound of Thunder have premiered a new video for the song Murderous Horde. The song comes from their upcoming album, “Out of the Darkness” which will be released on March 27 on Nightmare Records.

Guitarist Josh Schwartz had the following to say about making the video: “We had a great time making this video…with the possible exception of nearly freezing to death in that abandoned house! It’s not easy to mime a guitar solo when your fingertips are numb! Shooting the snake footage was probably the most fun, and Nina definitely made a new friend in Chubby the Burmese python. Artistically, director Duy Tran did a great job capturing the dark and eerie vibe of the song.”

Washington, D.C. hard rockers A Sound Of Thunder will be releasing their upcoming album Out of the Darkness on March 27th via Nightmare Records. This is the band’s second full-length album.

As a special treat to their fans, starting today you can get a free download of the non-album version of their song “Out of the Darkness.” This exclusive version features all vocals by Nina Osegueda. The album version features a duet with Raven vocalist and bassist John Gallagher. Click here to get the free download.

Guitarist Josh Schwartz commented about “Out of the Darkness:”

“This is one of my favorite solos, and surprised me at how much it reminded me of Helloween after I added the harmonies. Vocally, John Gallagher really nailed his parts in the studio. Watching him work was amazing…it seemed effortless for him. We’re really proud of the way the album version turned out with the John/Nina duet, but Nina really put in a killer performance on the whole song so we’re proud to put out this version too.”

Drummer Chris Haren chimed in:

“The title cut “Out of the Darkness” is a fast-paced, relentless song that burns from beginning to end and really gets the crowd pumped up. It is the most Maiden/Priest-like song in our repertoire, and really draws on our more ’80s, traditional metal influences. Lyrically, it describes an individual standing strong in the face of dishonesty, temptation and deception.”
