Massachusetts grindcore band Hivesmasher have posted tour dates for their upcoming US tour. These lovable rapscallions released their album Gutter Choir in October of 2012 on Black Market Activities and will be kicking off their tour on May 30th at Saint Vitus in Brooklyn.
You can see a full list of tour dates here.
Hivesmasher had the following to say about the tour: ‘This tour is centered around two concepts–we like playing shows in places where we don’t live, and we like playing shows with our friends. Combining the two is perfection.
Originally, Tiger Flowers and The Binary Code proposed that we do a few dates together at the end of May beginning of June, starting in Brooklyn and heading south. Of course, we leaped at the opportunity. As soon we started working on booking those dates, Cognitive proposed three shows with us the following weekend.
Since we kinda like doing this whole touring band thing, we decided that we’d be better off staying out on the road between the two smaller runs. Since it had been just over a year since we last traveled through the Rust Belt, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to get back!’
