Iron Maiden to reissue first eight albums on limited-edition vinyl

To coincide with their Maiden England tourIron Maiden will reissue the first seven studio albums and one of their live albums on limited edition vinyl. They will all be released on picture discs.

All the reissues will be released chronologically over a four-month period from October to February of next year. Reissues for their first two albums (1980’s Iron Maiden and 1981’s Killers) will be released on October 15th, while reissues for their iconic album The Number of the Beast (1982) and follow-up Piece of Mind (1983) will both surface in November. In January of next year, there will be reissues for Powerslave (1984) and the live album Live After Death (1985) and the last two, which are Somewhere in Time (1986) and Seventh Son of a Seventh Son (1988), will surface in February.

Iron Madien’s last studio album The Final Frontier came out in 2010.
